Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Houma is hiring for a full-time Day Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the RN in charge. Join our employee-owned team and contribute to a higher standard of care in the Tri-Parish area.

We require a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CNA program, current BLS certification, and 6–12 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
