Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities and support rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, ensuring safety, and following hospital policies. Certification as a CNA and current BLS are required; prior acute or rehab hospital experience is preferred but

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as CNA (state requirements).
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Do not administer medications or therapies.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort as needed.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
