Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Monteagle, TN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support a compassionate, patient-centered environment in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires an active CNA certification, strong communication skills, and teamwork. Weekend shifts and a $3,000 sign‑on bonus are available, with comprehensive benefits and professional growth

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under licensed supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Ambulate, transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Record vitals, intake/output, weights, and other measurements.
• Maintain room cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Promptly respond to call lights and resident requests.
• Support orientation and training of other staff as needed.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
