Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for The Palms in Palm Harbor, FL. The role delivers direct care in a skilled nursing environment, assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of state-approved CNA certification course.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining: escort to dining room, serving, cleanup.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this position:

The Certified Nursing Assistant, delivers direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). CNAs will assists our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene and mobility, by prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Required Qualifications
