Job summary

Aviata at The Bay is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, person-centered care in a skilled nursing setting in Tampa, FL. You will support residents with daily living activities, mobility, hygiene, and companionship, while adhering to care standards and regulatory requirements.

We offer morning, afternoon, and night shifts, a Perfect Punch Program bonus, and a 401k with match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Age 18 or older required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course required.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level for job duties.
• Caregivers must complete new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Administer medication reminders and observe changes in residents’ condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Escort residents to and from dining room, serve meals, and clean up.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our family at Aviata at The Bay. As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards in our health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). You will assist our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility, prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
