For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):
0 - 1 years of experience eligible for up to $2,500 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time ANA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
The Nursing Float Pool is the department for CNAs that are seeking a challenge and would like exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels. The CNA joining the Float Pool is looking to gain or build upon a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge base. Ability to float between Medical‑Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post‑Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit, which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills.
The Certified Nursing Assistant role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
