Job summary

Gundersen Health System, in partnership with Emplify Health, is seeking a CNA for the Hospital Float Pool in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The role covers inpatient units, including medical-surgical and pediatrics, plus patient transport for procedures and imaging.

The position is 0.5 FTE (40 hours bi-weekly) with 8-hour day shifts (6:30am–3:00pm). Weekend-free schedule with three holidays. Starting pay is $18.64/hour, plus experience-based increases and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from AHA or Red Cross within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in inpatient units (medical-surgical, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health).
• Transport patients for procedures, therapy, x-ray, etc.

We are seeking a CNA in the Hospital Float Pool to help cover inpatient units, such as medical-surgical, pediatrics and inpatient behavioral health. You will also help with transporting patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, x-ray etc.

What You Do

• 0.5 FTE, 40 hours bi-weekly
• Work 8-hour Day shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm)
• Transport shifts - 6:30am-3:00pm, 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am-5:00pm
• No Weekends! Three holidays a year

What You’ll Need

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
