Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Hospital Float Pool to cover inpatient units including medical-surgical, pediatrics and behavioral health. You will assist with transporting patients throughout the hospital for procedures, therapy, and X-ray and related care.

The position is 0.6 FTE (48 hours bi-weekly) with 12-hour day shifts (6:30am - 7pm), no weekends, and three holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin RN/Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient units in the hospital float pool (medical-surgical, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health).
• Transport patients for procedures, therapy, X-ray, etc.
• Work 0.6 FTE (48 hours bi-weekly) on 12-hour day shifts, no weekends, with three holidays per year.

What You’ll Need

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
