Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a CNA for our Neuroscience Unit. You will provide compassionate care to neurosurgery patients and others with neurological disorders on a 0.6 FTE schedule.

Shifts run 12 hours from 6:30am to 7:00pm, with every other weekend and three holidays per year. Starting pay is $18.64/hour, plus experience-based increases and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin CNA certification required.
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers from AHA or ARC within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in neurology or neurosurgery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for neurosurgery patients and those with neurological disorders.
• Work 12-hour day shifts with a 0.6 FTE schedule; 48 hours bi-weekly.
• Assist with patient care, comfort, and documentation.
