Responsibilities

The CNA in the Float Pool assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Assignments may include departments such as MedSurg, Behavioral Health, Telemetry, ICU, and Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or Skilled Nursing to float to the Subacute unit required.
• Current De-escalation Crisis Intervention (DCI) certification within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Estimated compensation ranges from $21.00 to $25.18 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
