Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing in Kansas is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support facilities in Frankfort and surrounding areas. As a CNA you will work in nursing homes, assisted living, rehabilitation centers and hospitals, delivering compassionate care as part of a team.

This role offers flexible scheduling, variety of assignments, paid mileage where criteria met, online training, and opportunities for growth, with options across contract, temp-to-hire and direct-hire placements.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Kansas is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations preferred.
• Compassionate, good communicator with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
