Job summary

Weakley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for the full-time evening shift in Dresden, TN. You will deliver quality patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and support residents with mobility and daily tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to care plans in a resident-centered facility that values growth opportunities and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee CNA certification is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Compassion for seniors and commitment to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work evenings and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Support meal service, hydration, and feeding assistance.
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow resident care plans and facility procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
