Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation in Herculaneum, MO is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant for the evening shift (3 PM–11 PM). Join a resident-centered team and provide compassionate care to residents in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA Certification (Required).
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new CNAs with clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing, nursing homes, long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior care is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized resident care.
• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity during the evening shift.
• Perform regular resident rounds and respond to resident needs.
• Follow individualized care plans and facility nursing procedures.
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas.
• Work collaboratively with CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and nursing leadership.

CNA Evening Shift Responsibilities
