Weakley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dresden, TN is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the day shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM). Join a respectful skilled nursing facility dedicated to resident-centered care, teamwork, and professional development.

New higher starting wages are available for qualified CNAs seeking stable hours. As a CNA you will assist with ADLs, mobility, vital signs, meals, and provide companionship, while collaborating with nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• Current and active Tennessee CNA certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate bedside manner.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safe repositioning.
• Take and document vital signs.
• Report changes to licensed nurses.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow care plans and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapy teams.
• Deliver excellent resident and family service.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

As a CNA, Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, or Resident Care Aide, you will:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning residents safely

• Take and document vital signs accurately

• Report changes in resident conditions to licensed nurses

• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when necessary

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Follow care plans and facility policies

• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and family members

Full-Time Day Shift Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
