Job summary

Northcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Napoleon, OH is hiring full-time CNAs for the day shift to provide direct resident care in a skilled nursing environment. You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, vital signs, and ensure safety and dignity for residents.

Ideal candidates include experienced CNAs or newly certified CNAs who are compassionate, dependable, and team players, able to communicate well with nurses, families, and other staff. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Long-term care, nursing home, or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration.
• Help with transfers, mobility, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Follow individualized resident care plans.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and other healthcare team members.
