Job summary

MediLodge of Monroe is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join a dedicated team focused on resident-centered care. The role emphasizes ongoing support for daily living activities and compassionate patient care in a long-term care setting.

Starting wages range from $21.90 to $28.59 per hour with a pay-structure that includes a state supplement and attendance incentives. Flexible pay options allow daily, weekly, or bi-weekly payments through UKG Wallet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs by signaling lights and bells.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Turn and position residents in bed and assist with ambulation as needed.
• Record vitals and intake/output as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation?

• Starting Wages at $21.90-$28.59 per hour
• Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr State of Michigan/Employer Supplement, and a $2/hr attendance program.

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification

• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Job Functions

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.,
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
