Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will provide basic nursing care under licensed nurse supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, explaining procedures, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment. We welcome dedicated caregivers with MO CNA licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Missouri is required.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and healthcare staff.
• Basic reading and writing skills are necessary.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Explain procedures before administering care to ensure comfort.
• Change gowns, clothing, and linens to keep residents dry and clean.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds and maintain a tidy environment.
• Receive thorough nursing reports at start of shift.

Principal Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space

Qualifications

• CNA license in the state of Missouri
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Basic reading and writing skills
• CPR/BLS Certification
