Job summary

Twin Rivers Nursing & Rehabilitation in Owensboro, KY is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care on the day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Successful candidates have state approved CNA training and competency evaluation; we offer employer-paid life/AD&D insurance, tuition assistance to an LPN, shift differentials, and full benefits including sick time, vacation, and 401K. Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with state-approved training and competency evaluation.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Able to perform daily living activities and adhere to care plans.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and monitor residents' needs per care plans.
• Check residents unable to call for help frequently.
• Provide direct resident care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Explain procedures clearly to residents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

• Starting salary $18.25/hour!

• Employer paid Life and AD&D Insurance up to $50,000 coverage

DAY SHIFT 7A-7P

Purpose:Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes and Care Plan Objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.

• Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.

• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.

• Explains procedures to residents.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.
