Night Shift: 7pm – 7am

Availability to work Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am

CNA Companion Role

Float between units, providing 1 to 1 care to patients.

This CNA Companion role offers a great opportunity to spend more dedicated time and build rapport with the patients you care for.

Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units, with a focus on Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit. This provides excellent exposure to various specialties while expanding your experience and skills.

12-hour shifts

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant Companion functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various duties to provide patient care, supervision, companionship, and support. Helps maintain the patient room in a clean and orderly condition.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and listed on the Maine Registry. Completion of a six-week or equivalent course is required. Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: None required.
