Job summary

Richmond Center is offering a fully sponsored CNA training program for eligible candidates, with class start date TBD. Upon certification, positions at our Staten Island Skilled Nursing Facility become available, with pay rates ranging from $18.00 to $20.50 per hour.

We are seeking individuals who are 18+, in good standing with the State Registry, and able to work as part of a team. Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare values compassionate care and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bed baths.
• Set up meals and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional support.
• Make beds and keep spaces tidy.
• Transport Residents within the Facility.
• Turn bedridden Residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident and Facility data.

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of theSponsored CNAprogram
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work as a team member
