Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Cascade Park in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan.

You will perform duties including personal care, reviewing care plans, communicating with nurses, assisting with activities, and maintaining a warm, supportive environment.

This full-time evening position offers competitive wages of $24-$31 per hour DOE, with PRN shifts available and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a Washington-licensed CNA.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Check residents' personal care needs and ensure wishes are met.
• Review care plans daily and note changes.
• Inform nurse supervisor of changes for updating the plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs and transport to appointments.
• Foster a warm, patient, cheerful environment for residents.
• Prepare rooms and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys and communicate information to staff.
• Provide clear resident information to charge nurses and the administrator.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have been made on the care plan
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents
