Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Arbor Terrace Morris Plains in Morris Plains, NJ. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care, assisting with daily living activities and helping residents stay engaged and secure.

We offer a competitive $21.00 per hour pay rate, paid time off, health, dental & vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, and flexible scheduling in a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or home health preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing team
• Encourage residents to remain active, engaged, and connected through meaningful interactions and daily activities
• Assist with repositioning, ambulation, meals, and other resident care needs while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Work collaboratively with nurses, medication aides, and fellow caregivers to deliver outstanding resident care
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where residents can thrive

What We're Looking For
