Job summary

Allure of Zion is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care and supportive services to residents in our Assisted Living Facility. This PM shift (3-10:30 pm) offers a stable schedule in a family‑style culture that values dignity, respect, and comfort for our residents.

You will assist with ADLs, measure vital signs, monitor intake, help with transfers, and support residents with mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable caregiver with patient communication skills.
• CPR certified and able to respond calmly in stressful situations.
• English literacy and ability to communicate with residents and staff.
• Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to collaborate with residents, staff, and support agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight).
• Record food and fluid intake and report changes in eating habits.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, transferring, and transporting residents.
• Provide care to residents with mental health conditions, psychosocial needs, or history of trauma.
• Assist with nail care for non-diabetic residents (hands and feet) as permitted.
• Routinely check residents to meet personal care needs per their wishes.
• Observe and report skin changes, pressure areas, or breakdowns.
• Collect specimens as instructed (urine, stool, sputum, etc.).
• Assist nursing staff with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and weight
• Record food and fluid intake and report changes in eating habits

• Ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and support agencies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and transport items up to 50 feet
• Ability to meet the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the position

Schedule: Every other weekend

Hourly Rate: $20 HOURLY
