Job summary

Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo (San Diego area) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an AM shift. You will provide direct resident care under a licensed nurse, supporting activities of daily living in a safe, clean environment.

Requirements include CA CNA certification and CPR, with 2+ years of CNA experience preferred and LTC experience preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, DailyPay, and more.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience preferable.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Promptly report changes and any unusual occurrences to Licensed Nurse.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Document required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
• Respond to residents' call lights promptly.
• Identify safety hazards and follow facility policies and procedures.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant shall provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for all residents, with emphasis on activities of daily living and restoration of a higher level of function.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assists residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities
• Promptly reports changes and any unusual occurrences regarding residents to Licensed Nurse
• Participates in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
• Participates in care planning conferences on assigned residents as requested
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities and programs.
• Accurately documents required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
• Responds to each resident’s call light promptly.
• Follows established performance standards and performs duties according to facility policies and procedures.
• Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates appropriate action immediately
