Job summary

Garden Healthcare’s Belle Terrace nursing facility in Quakertown, PA is hiring Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) for full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts on 3pm-11pm. Starting wages at $17/hr with earning up to $24/hr including PIB and shift differentials. Active PA CNA license required with training completed.

Responsibilities include providing resident care per care plans, supporting independence, and maintaining a homelike environment while protecting resident rights.

Qualifications

• Active PA CNA license required.
• Successful completion of state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation.
• Experience as CNA in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and nursing-related services per resident assessment and plan of care.
• Deliver care in accordance with the Flow of Care to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain a homelike environment and protect Resident Rights.
• Assist residents to attain or maintain the highest practicable level of functioning.

We are located at1320 Mill Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides nursing and nursing related services to residents consistent with each resident’s comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Resident care is provided according to the “Flow of Care” in a manner that meets the resident's physical, mental, and psycho-social needs and enables the individual to attain or maintain the highest practicable level of functioning. The CNA maintains a "homelike" environment for the residents, protects and promotes Resident Rights and assists the person to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible.

Education: Successful completion of a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program or a nurse aide competency evaluation program approved by Pennsylvania.

Certificate/Licenses: Acceptable verification of training and competency evaluation from State Nurse Aide Registry. No findings in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, mistreatment of residents or misappropriation of residents’ property. Active C.N.A License required, CPR Certification preferred, but not required.

Work Experience:Experience as a Certified Nursing Aide giving personal care to impaired individuals in a health care setting particularily long term care is preferred but not required.
