Onyx Care of Farmerville is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN opportunities with benefits and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in the resident's records. CPR preferred and state CNA certification required. Join us for meaningful, patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Must be a state-certified CNA (Louisiana or state of employment).
• CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; record intake and output information.
• Provide resident comfort by responding to call lights and requests; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing compassionate care and support to residents with their activities of daily living. The CNA helps promote and maintain the health, well-being, welfare, and safety of all residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be a state-certified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).


• Must provide safe, respectful, and compassionate resident care.


• Must assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Completes appropriate charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily to see what is needed; cleans instruments and equipment and returns to proper area after use


• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information.


• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.


• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records


• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.


• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable


• Maintain a safe environment for your patient.


• Clinical Management of your patient.

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (Louisiana or state of employment)


• CPR Certification (Preferred)
