The Onyx Care of Natchitoches facility in Natchitoches, LA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles. You will assist residents with daily living activities and monitor health needs in a post-acute & rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Louisiana or state of employment).
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips; monitors supply inventory daily.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; record intake and output.
• Provide resident comfort by answering call lights and requests; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Clinical management of patient.

Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Completes appropriate charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily to see what is needed; cleans instruments and equipment and returns to proper area after use
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information.
• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable
• Maintain a safe environment for your patient.
• Clinical Management of your patient.
