Foothills Retirement Community is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform all duties as per SC Department of Public Health (DPH)
• Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors and other co-workers; assist in maintaining a “home-like” environment
• Assist residents with ADLs
• Answer call lights
• Follow the residents care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident
• Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse in change and maintain communication with the families of residents
• Complete required documentation in accordance with community policies and state and/or federal regulations
• Maintain residents’ living area by ensuring that it is clean, neat and orderly, and in DPH compliance
• Comply with all safety and sanitary standards, rules and regulations
• Required to work weekends, holidays and per resident needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

What's Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant
• CPR Certification
• 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

What's Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree. CPR Certified
• 3 years’ experience as a CNA
• Proficient computer skills
