Job summary

East River Nursing and Rehab in Anderson, SC is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care for residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will assist with daily activities and help maintain comfort and safety for each resident.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, grooming, feeding, vital signs, and documenting intake and output. A valid SC CNA license and familiarity with PCC PointClickCare are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina CNA license.
• PCC PointClickCare software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with baths, grooming, and feeding.
• Turn or reposition residents; monitor vital signs; record intake and output.
• Follow policies and quality standards to ensure safe, dignified care.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

As a Certified Nurses Aid at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you play a critical role in the care of our residents.

You are committed to the highest level of care responsible for the delivery of resident care (baths, personal grooming, feeding)

Turn or reposition residents who are bedridden, taking residents vital signs and recording fluid and meal intake and output.

Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety.

Strives to incorporate the facility’s goal of quality care in a personal manner with total regard for all our resident’s dignity.

You always encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and sincere concern for each of our residents.
