Job summary

American Senior Communities in Evansville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join Columbia Healthcare Center. This full-time day-shift role offers 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, every other weekend, with no on-call required.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, help with mobility, observe health changes, and provide compassionate companionship while collaborating with nursing staff to ensure safe, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Valid and current CNA certification in Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and resident mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and senior care.

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident’s well-being is prioritized. CNAs work alongside the nursing team to assist residents with daily care needs while providing companionship, reassurance and support.

In This Role:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
