Job summary

Fort Gibson Care & Rehab in Fort Gibson, OK is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated team. You will assist residents with daily activities, basic care, and mobility, while providing compassionate support and maintaining resident dignity.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time, competitive pay, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Valid Oklahoma CNA certification required.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provide for personal care and comfort.
• Move to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distances in the facility.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and intake/output as directed.
• Provide direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meet the communication needs of residents and families.
• Communicate changes in residents’ clinical condition to the nursing team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition


• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred


• Must pass a state-issued exam


• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma


• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.


• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.


• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations


• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
