Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a compassionate, resident-centered care team. Full-time and part-time shifts are available across 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM, with competitive hourly wages and benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing residents, and supporting licensed staff to provide safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license in the state of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment promoting dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

$5 PIB

$2 Shift Diff for Weekends

$1.50 Shift Diff for 11 AM- 3 PM Weekday

$2 Shift Diff for 11 PM- 7 AM Weekday

$20 - $33 an hour (all inclusive)

Sign-On Bonus - Full-Time $3,000 and $1,500 part-time

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
