Yorktown Manor is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities at our nursing home in Yorktown, IN. Pay starts at $16/hour. Shifts: Full-Time 6a-2p, 2p-10p and 10p-6a; PRN requires at least one weekend per month.

You will assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, follow care plans, and work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and comfort.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; must have completed a state-approved training program and examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application.

Mansioni

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene and grooming according to the Care Plan.
• Provides nursing care and ensures safety and well-being of residents.
• Works under Direction of Charge Nurse as part of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Ensures residents are out of bed per Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, families, coworkers and staff in a calm, supportive manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents are maintained.
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
