Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in West Lafayette, Indiana. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients and support the interdisciplinary team in delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, and other direct care tasks. A State-approved CNA program graduate with CPR certification is required; licensure must be active.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Current registered/licensed in the applicable State and maintain active license.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care including bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, and related tasks as directed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates, vendors, and others.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
