Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Denver, CO, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide routine daily nursing care, including bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting, under the direction of licensed staff.

We value compassionate patient care, excellent customer service, and teamwork. The ideal candidate has a state CNA license, CPR, and up to one year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Active CNA license in the applicable state, in good standing.
• CPR certification at hire or within orientation; must remain current.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients as directed, following laws and Life Care standards.
• Perform direct care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.
• Communicate effectively and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
