Overview

CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant Full-Time

University Place, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community in West Lafayette, Indiana looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to add to our team!

University Place is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/long-term care.

Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed.
2. Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers.
4. Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education.
5. Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Day shift and evening shift availability, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. Must enjoy working with the senior population.
