Job summary

Harmony West Des Moines is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team on weekend and PRN shifts. You will help residents with Activities of Daily Living and monitor changes to ensure comfort and safety.

• A State of Iowa CNA certificate or completion certificate from an Iowa accredited CNA training program with written and skills exams.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents.
• Observe changes in residents' condition.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Contribute to residents' education and well-being.

As a CNA you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony West Des Moines by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited CNA training course with completed Written and Skills exams. Prior CNA experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
