Job summary

Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo, IA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our friendly, caring team. This is a 1st shift full-time position with PRN on-call availability, offering rewarding work in skilled nursing and a path for growth.

You will provide activities of daily living support, observe resident conditions, ensure a safe environment, and uphold high standards of care and compassion for our residents.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate or CNA completion certificate is required.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable.
• Frontline in Clinical Department with responsibilities to ensure high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living for residents and assist with personal care.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Maintain a safe environment and closely monitor residents.
• Support residents with comfort and safety and uphold care standards.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony House Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
