Complete Care at Kensington in Waukesha, WI is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide dignified ADL support and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active Wisconsin CNA certification required.
• Must be compliant with state healthcare worker background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and safe resident handling to protect skin integrity and safety.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe living spaces and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with Unit Managers and Director of Nursing on care plans.

Clinical Responsibilities & Advocacy

As a CNA at Kensington, you are the primary point of contact for our residents, providing the essential care that defines their daily experience:

• Holistic Resident Care: Provide dignified assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and specialized feeding.
• Mobility & Safety: Master safe resident handling by assisting with ambulation, turning, and positioning to ensure skin integrity and physical comfort.
• Vitals & Observation: Serve as the "clinical eyes and ears" for the nursing team; monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes in physical or emotional status.
• Environment Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space for residents, ensuring their "home" reflects the high standards of our facility.
• Documentation Excellence: Utilize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to complete accurate, real-time reports and records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Unit Managers and the Director of Nursing to implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications For Success

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Must hold an Active Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Compliance: Must be compliant with state healthcare worker background check requirements.
• Competencies: Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, collaborative team environment.
  • Basic computer literacy for digital charting.
  • A heart for long-term care; while previous experience is preferred, we are happy to train compassionate newcomers.
