Job summary

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time NOC shifts. You will provide person-centered care, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and document changes under supervision, while upholding infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered daily nursing care per resident care plans.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.

• Assist transfers, repositioning and ensure resident safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote dignity, independence, privacy and comfort for residents.
• Communicate with residents, families and healthcare team.
• Follow facility policies, procedures and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with licensed staff to care for long-term and short-term residents.

• Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Starting Pay: $24 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, person-centered daily nursing care according to each resident's care plan and individual needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and maintaining resident safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, privacy, and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
• Work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff to provide high-quality care to both long-term residents and short-term rehabilitation patients.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is preferred.
