Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our medical team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois. CNAs provide direct patient care for incarcerated individuals, support personal hygiene and daily living activities, and monitor vital signs under nursing, medical and psychiatric supervision.

Evening shift 2 p.m.–10 p.m. with a $4 evening differential and a $3 night differential, full benefits package and opportunities for continuing education are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required; Illinois licensure preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).
• One year of experience in correctional or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities and vital signs.
• Work under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
