Job summary

Centers Health Care in Cooperstown, NY seeks compassionate nursing support staff for all shifts. Base pay ranges with night differential and evening bonus, plus a $3,500 sign-on bonus and daily pay options.

Strong teamwork and state certification required to help residents with daily care and hygiene while maintaining dignity and safety. Position offers opportunities for career advancement and a two-tiered insurance plan.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with personal hygiene, including bed baths and shaving.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake.
• Feeding Residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident data.

Base rate is $18.00-$20.50 with an additional $1.25 shift differential for nights & $0.75 for evening

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food / fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bed ridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Current NY State Certification

• Must be in good standing with State Registry
