Job summary

Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Eustis, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and meal assistance. Join a supportive team at Excelsior Care Group.

You will assist with transfers and mobility, document care activities, monitor residents, and collaborate with nurses to maintain high-quality outcomes in a warm, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to improving residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
• Support safe resident transfers, including lifting, positioning, and mobility assistance using proper techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental status to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens, ensuring personal spaces are tidy, and promoting hygiene.
• Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Assist during recreational activities to encourage engagement, social interaction, and physical activity.
• Monitor and assist with dietary needs, ensuring residents are hydrated and have their nutritional needs met.
• Accurately document care activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure high-quality outcomes.
