Job summary

Visiting Angels Reading is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work in Berks and Northern Chester County. We offer part-time and full-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfers and transportation, plus providing companionship and supportive care. Applicants MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of experience with seniors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in caring for seniors and/or disabled adults.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Reliability and professionalism are important.
• CNA experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care such as oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming.
• Planning, preparing and serving meals.
• Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity.
• Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping.
• Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times.

Visiting Angels of Reading is currently looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We serve the local area including and many others. Part-time and full-time positions available. We have day, evening, and overnight shifts available.

Applicants MUST have

• MUST have high school diploma or equivalent
• MINIMUM of 6 months experience in caring for Seniors and/or Disabled Adults professionally or personally.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST.
• Reliability and Professionalism are very important.
• MUST enjoy assisting in the needs of others.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus.
• CNA a plus Not a requirement.
