Visiting Angels is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We offer part-time and full-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts. Join our team to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and disabled adults.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of caregiving experience. Reliable transportation is required, and reliability and professionalism are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in caring for seniors and/or disabled adults professionally or personally.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Reliability and professionalism are very important.
• Must enjoy assisting in the needs of others.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus.
• CNA a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care services such as oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming.
• Planning, preparing and serving meals.
• Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity.
• Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping.
• Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times.
