Job summary

Heartwood Extended Health Care in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care while upholding resident rights and promoting dignity and well-being. You will respond to call lights promptly and assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and daily tasks.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting observations, and ensuring accurate care documentation in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold current CNA Certification in State employed.
• A minimum of three months' prior Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR.

• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.

• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Heartwood Extended Health Care in Tacoma, Washington is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality while providing individualized attention and encouraging residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and answering residents' call lights promptly and courteously.
