Job summary

Canterbury House in Auburn, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a variety of resident care duties in line with the plan of care and long-term care standards.

You will assist with ADLs, take vital signs, document care, and support residents throughout shifts including FT Evening Shift (2pm to 10pm). Must be certified in WA and able to work well in a team; Private health plan, Life Insurance, and DailyPay are among benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold current WA CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents using a wheelchair or assists to walk.

Job Summary

Canterbury House is looking for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.

Essential Functions:

• Answers signal lights
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Qualifications:

• Required: Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
• Required: High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to work well in a team setting
