Job summary

Nursing & Rehabilitation at The Mansion is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for nursing home residents in Sunbury, PA. You will perform personal care, support daily routines, and contribute to a compassionate, multidisciplinary team focused on resident comfort.

Shifts available include day, evening, and night with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekends. A CNA certification and in-person work are required for this role, with opportunities to grow skills

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; state approved training program and examination.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Documentation of certification required upon application.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene and grooming per Care Plan.
• Provide nursing care and ensure safety and well-being of residents.
• Work under direction of Charge Nurse and participate in the inter-disciplinary team.
• Help residents get out of bed as outlined in the Care Plan.
• Interact with residents, family, staff in a compassionate, supportive manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
