Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification/Registration is required.
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association compliant) is required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Aide Trainee or 1 year of paid geriatric/long-term care experience.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check and fingerprinting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to document patient information accurately.
  • Understanding of behavioral health and age-related care considerations.

Position Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will provide hands on care, monitor resident well‑being, and help ensure the highest quality of life for those entrusted to your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification/Registration
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association compliant)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Aide Trainee or 1 year of paid experience caring for geriatric, long-term care, or medically complex patients
  • Successful completion of all pre‑employment screening and clearance requirements, incl background check and fingerprinting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to accurately collect, document, and communicate patient information
  • Understanding of behavioral health and age‑related care considerations
