Stone Cottage Care Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Sigourney, IA, and Harvest Acres in Keota, IA. We offer Full Time shifts (6a-2p, 2p-10p, weekends 6a-6p and 6p-6a) and PRN. Join a caring, multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on enriching residents' lives.

Qualified CNAs provide resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to execute the Care Plan with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Documentation of CNA certification must be provided upon application.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Provide nursing care per the Care Plan and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and inter-disciplinary team.
• Ensure residents are up and out of bed per the Care Plan.
• Interact with residents and family in a compassionate, respectful manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

Stone Cottage Care Center is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform various resident care activities and services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents, located in Sigourney, IA!

Shifts Available:

• Full Time 6a-2p
• Full Time 2p-10p
• Full Time Weekends 6a-6p and 6p-6a
• PRN

CNA Job Details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents are maintained.
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a state-approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
